{seasonal style} Simple Thanksgiving Tablescape

Last week I showed you my quick, five minute trick to transforma set of clear glass plates for Thanksgiving, and today I'm excited to show you how my Thanksgiving tablescape came together!

I'm joining with some very talented bloggers for a Thanskgiving table blog hop, and at the end of this post you'll find links to check out all of these gorgeous designs - a table for every style!

I choose blue for just about every season {no surprise there}, and this fall I'm really loving blue buffalo check! I picked up these napkins in the Target dollar section {$3 for each set of 2}.

The "THANKS" pumpkins on the sideboard are a quick and easy DIY using Sharpies - and the other side of them are my peek-a-boo color Jack O'Lanterns. Don't you just love double duty decor?!

The gray and white Ikat table runner is my favorite for fall, and I like the way the pattern contrasts against the buffalo check napkins.

I created the centerpiece using faux florals in my favorite new vase. It's the one I showed you earlier in the fall that can be configured in a circle, a straight line, a zig zag {as it is here} or anything in between. {Check out my seasonal decor staples post to see the vase in action.} The pumpkins I've collected over the last few years from all the local craft stores.

I'm so glad that I resisted the urge to buy the fancy Thanksgiving salad plates I wanted from Crate and Barrel. My inexpensive glass plate and scrapbook paper hack added just the right pop of color and style to my table without busting the budget!

At the opposite end of the kitchen, I hung the buffalo check "Gather" banner {also from the Target dollar section, along with those checked pillows}.

Christmas decor is just around the corner, but I'm glad I took the time to decorate for Thanksgiving this year. Did you get a chance to check out my Thanksgiving porch decor yet?

Are you ready for more Thanksgiving tables?! Then you're in luck! Follow the links below to see the details of each of these gorgeous designs...

  5. Your table is so beautiful and that vase is really something! I love all the ways you can style it!! Your post about it was really pretty. But I love your Thanksgiving table and the way everything goes together. Target really do have some nice things in their Dollar spot - it's one place I always go whenever I'm in there. Your plates are gorgeous and I too had to restrain myself from buying some fancier ones just to do this. I would not mind investing in some over time. Thanks for sharing your beautiful table and Happy Thanksgiving!!
