It's been feeling like spring in Denver for about a month now... but winter is about to make its return with snow expected later this week. Even the weather outside remains unpredictable, I've fully committed to spring inside the house! Our home is pretty bright and bold year round, but spring colors are definitely my favorite, and I've been going a little crazy with flowers lately!
I'm excited to be participating in the Hello Spring Home Tour blog home with 19 other super talented bloggers with all different home styles. You'll find links to each of their tours at the end of the post. AND we've all joined together to offer a $400 CASH GIVEAWAY to one lucky reader, so be sure to enter to win!
I would love to start this spring home tour by showing you a pretty porch full of cheerful flowers, but it's still too early for that here in Denver. Instead, I'll give you a little glimpse of what our porch looked like last spring...
Welcome! Come on in!
I feel like I always start every tour in the entry way and living room, but I'm am SO excited about the kitchen, that I want to start there!
I've been saving some Pellegrino bottles for a few years, thinking they'd make great vases, and finally I actually put them to use. I was really wanting some height on the kitchen table to make a big statement for spring, so I picked some tall, pink dogwoods {fake so that I can enjoy them throughout the season}.
That agate side table {affiliate link} is one of my favorite recent purchases...I love the deep green and blue hues.
When the lighted R claimed a spot on our entry table, that left a lamp in need of a new home. I tried it on this striped cabinet in the hall, and I think it's pretty perfect there. And of course, the pink gerbera daisies fulfill the pink quota.
Looking down the hall from the sitting area, you'll see four spot colored canvases with photos from our travels - Costa Rica, Greece, Seattle, and Portugal. Seeing these photos on a daily basis makes me itch to start planning another vacation!

The Pellegrino bottle vases bring together all of my favorite spring colors - the blue labels, the green glass, and the pink flowers. I can't stop staring at them! And I'm digging the striped table runner {affiliate link} that I picked up at Target last week!
Above our kitchen table is a long, thin window that I love to decorate for the seasons. Last year I bought a dozen different colorful fabrics to fill embroidery hoops, and I was so excited to hang them back up in the kitchen window this spring! Just seeing them there puts a smile on my face!
On the sideboard at the end of the kitchen table, I wanted to add more flowers, but didn't want standard vases. I spotted some adorable black wood boxes at H&M Home {affiliate link}, and knew they'd be perfect! The black suits the modern aesthetic of our kitchen, but the rough wood of the box adds a natural element and texture that I was craving.
I love to create simple art, and after doing lots of furniture painting these past few weeks, I was itching to put some paint on paper instead. I created this super simple painting in just a few minutes, but I really love the way it brightens up the sideboard.
Looking toward the other end of the kitchen, I added a three bright candles to the table in front of the fireplace.
The bright colors in the kitchen look great when the sun is streaming through the windows in the morning, but they also keep the mood just as cheerful after dark!
Ok, thanks for indulging me by starting the tour in the kitchen... now back to the entry way and living room. After Christmas I relocated our new, giant lighted R to the entry table, and I think it's going to stay right there. But the table was feeling like it needed something else for spring, so I grabbed a couple of extra frames and filled them with pretty scrapbook papers, and I filled a striped basket from the Target dollar section with plastic Easter eggs.
Changing up pillows is one of my favorite ways to decorate for the changing seasons, and these pink pillows will be sticking around throughout the summer!
I love acrylic trays, but not the price tag that goes along with them. Last year, I figured out a super simple way to DIY my own, and this spring I gave it an updated look.
Those cute little black vases were another recent find at H&M Home...I am loving that they have a store in Denver now!
The vibrant spring colors continue in the sitting area in our upstairs hall.
I painted the frames above the chair, and simply designed some black and white patterns that I printed on plain paper to fill the frames.

One last stop on the tour... our master bedroom. I don't change anything in our room for the seasons, but the white tulips on my nightstand make me happy every day, and they feel so perfect for spring!
