This 4,000 square foot house is designed for seamless indoor/outdoor living, which is apparent as soon you step inside the front door and you immediately get a glimpse of the stunning backyard space.
On the other side open staircase is the large dining room.
I love the grass cloth wallpaper that continues onto the ceiling above the dining table. It helps to really define the dining room area within this large open space, that might otherwise feel more like a hallway leading to the kitchen.
The bright kitchen features a large island with a waterfall edge {where the counter top continues down one end of the island}, as well as a breakfast nook.
In place of upper cabinets on either side of the Wolf range, open shelves set in front of large windows provide a unique and beautiful display.
But the kitchen certainly does not lack storage! An entire wall of cabinetry spans one wall, with a walk in pantry just beyond.
The kitchen flows into the living room...
The dark paneled ceiling gives the living room a cozy feeling and provides contrast to the large, light stone fireplace.
On warm days, the glass wall dividing the living room from the backyard simply folds out of the way to create an open flow from the indoors to the patio beyond.
The backyard features one of the home's two salt water pools, both with automatic covers.
The outdoor entertaining space includes a large dining space with a built-in BBQ.
Just beyond the large outdoor fireplace, is a covered loggia with ceiling heaters and speakers, allowing the outdoor space to be enjoyed for much more of the year.
Back inside, the home features 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and a private study with lots of built in cabinetry and shelving.
Lighted shelves line the hallway leading to the master bedroom.
The master bedroom has a very unique, textured ceiling treatment spanning the width of the room above the fireplace.
The bright master bathroom has a lot going on. I actually find it a bit overwhelming, but I do like the free standing tub!
Another of the bedrooms is cheery and fun, with its orange ceiling - perfect for tween or teen girl!
And the en suite bathroom is a nice balance of sophistication {with all white finishes} and playful {with pops of orange}.
More bedrooms and bathrooms feature neutral color palettes with lots of whites and browns, but with a variety of textures to keep things interesting.
This dream house also includes a comfy media room...
...a glass wine cellar...
...and an second salt water pool indoors, adjacent to a large workout space.
So what do you think? Does this look like your dream home? I'd love to hear what are your favorite features, and which design choices you could live without!
