Happy 4th of July weekend, friends! It's been a busy week around here...last Saturday, I gave a presentation at my local IKEA with lots of tips for stylish organization, and on Tuesday I posted all of those ideas on the blog, including one new one that is making mornings at our house run much more smoothly. We also have a big landscaping project going on {it's not a DIY project, we brought in the professionals}, so I decided it would be fun to do a series about the evolution of our small, urban backyard, and Part 1 hit the blog yesterday.

Do Your Walls Match Your Wardrobe? That's the question that The Heathered Nest asked this week, and around here, the answer is definitely a yes! Heather's post is not only full of fun photography this week that gives you some sneak peeks at her gorgeous home, it also gives some great tips for decorating your own home by taking cues from your clothing!
Often times, we have to work with what we have, and that's what I love about this stenciled patio from
Refresh Living - her porch had become an eye sore, so she did something about it and gave it her own unique look while improving her curb appeal!
I clearly had IKEA organizing on the brain this week as I prepared my presentation on that topic -so I was very excited to see Little House of Four's fantastic organizing project using inexpensive IKEA magazine boxes show up at the link party! You not only need to check out the makeover she gave these cardboard boxes - you also have to see the entire organized craft closet that they area part of... I may have drooled on the computer a little!
