A Winter Onederland First Birthday Party {reader style}

It's been a cold and snowy winter wonderland here in Colorado these last few weeks, and I know that's true just about everywhere else as well! And since March is typically our snowiest month, I think we'll see more of the white stuff before we're through. That makes this the perfect time to share with you some gorgeous photos from the Winter Onederland party that my friend Colleen threw for her one year old's first birthday.

I first met Colleen when we co-hosted a baby shower for a mutual friend, and I immediately knew that she had impeccable taste! So I wasn't surprised at all to see that the party she recently hosted for her precious daughter, Amelia, was impeccable as well. Did I mention that Colleen is also a talented photographer?

This first birthday chalkboard sign with details about the birthday girl is such a nice touch, and the snowflakes are perfect for the Winter Onederland theme.

The food table was perfectly staged, with a furry coating of snow, glittery trees, and snowflakes falling from the chandelier.

The entire Winter Onederland spread looks delicious, but my favorite part... definitely the "Baby Appetizers." What a seriously adorable idea!

How precious is that Winter Onederland cake with the glittery, snowy icing and giant snowflake on top?

The cake was, of course, a smash cake for Amelia to devour, but the guests were treated to a selection of Winter Onederland desserts, including of mini-cupcakes, sugar cookies, and powdered donuts {yes, please!!}.

I am certain Amelia was thrilled with all of the gifts her friends and family showered upon her - but it's the snowflakes hanging from that adorable banner on the mantle that makes my heart happy!

And Amelia's guests were sent home with colorful tubes of bubbles to thank them for making her party so "bubbly and fun."

This Winter Onederland birthday theme was truly fit for a princess, and Colleen's photographs perfectly captured every detail of this special day!
